Growth Expert Steve Herman Joins Archetype as Executive in Residence
Philadelphia, PA – [July 26, 2022] Archetype, a firm harnessing the best of consulting and investing in workplace benefits and people development, announced that Steve Herman has been named Executive in Residence (EiR).
Herman brings 20 years of sales and management experience in the HR technology space. In his last role as Chief Sales Officer at Web Benefits Design he built and managed a national sales force while overseeing all new revenue generating opportunities. In addition, he also sourced and supported all strategic partnerships. In 2019, he successfully navigated a transaction where the business was acquired by an insurance carrier as part of a strategic investment – an $80 million deal from what had been a bootstrapped company.
In describing joining us, Herman said, “I am incredibly excited to work with all of the talented individuals within the Archetype organization and ecosystem. I have had a chance to see first-hand Archetype’s commitment to its partners and to team development, diversity and growth. I look forward to learning from you all and to contributing to our future success. Oh yeah, and having fun while we do it.”
“Herman brings terrific depth and breadth of experience of business development and client relationship management from our focus market segments,” says Chief Strategy Officer, Iain Fitzpatrick. “This combined with his commitment to personal development and coaching will add enormous value to the Archetype ecosystem.”
Leveraging Herman’s sales leadership and experience in the HR technology and employee benefits sectors, Herman will be focusing on accelerating growth among Archetype’s portfolio companies.
