Meet the 2022 Well – Being Trailblazer Award Judges

Submissions for the 2022 Well-Being Trailblazer Awards closed on June 10, and it is our best year ever.

We have been impressed by the high quality of entries this year and look forward to dive deeper into submissions as we work towards selecting this year’s winner. Archetype and WELCOA ask a group of subject matter experts to help make this difficult but exciting decision.

Deepan Kamaraj MD PhD serves as a Subject Matter Expert at UPMC Enterprises, the innovation and commercialization division of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. A primary care physician from India with M.S., and PhD in Rehabilitation Technology from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Kamaraj has expertise in designing and developing digital health solutions for remote care delivery.

Antonia Dean is Director of Startup Pipeline Diversity for Comcast Strategic Development. In that role, she works to ensure that the startup founders engaged with Comcast are as diverse as its customer base. Antonia turned down a career in corporate law after graduating from Harvard Law School to work in the cosmetics industry. She helped build some of today’s most well-known and profitable cosmetics brands, including Calvin Klein Fragrances, Michael Kors, Vera Wang, and Le Labo, before she was bitten by the startup bug. Prior to joining Comcast, Antonia helped recent college graduates build their own businesses at Venture For America and led engagements at Archetype, a venture fund, and consultancy.

As global leader of Talent Product Strategy for Oracle Cloud HCM, Chris Havrilla is a seasoned, proven HCM leader who has received global recognition. Before joining Oracle, she led human capital technology research, strategy, and advisory as a VP and Lead Tech Industry Analyst at Deloitte. Her experience spans both internal IT and HR roles and consulting — connecting product, technology, business, strategy, and innovation. She loves figuring out how the latest trends and innovations in data, tools, and technology can help impact the world of work, workforce, and workplace making work better for people and people better at work.

Iain Fitzpatrick is the Chief Strategy Officer at Archetype, where he leads the development of strategies that enable the company, its consulting partners, and portfolio companies to operate at scale. Before joining Archetype, Iain served as the Global Managing Director of Productized Services for Hay Group, helping grow the business line to $150 million in revenue and position the Hay Group for sale to Korn Ferry for over $450 million in 2015. Prior to Hay Group, Iain spent time as a researcher with the University of Glasgow in the Training and Employment Research Unit and two seasons as a professional soccer player in Scotland. Iain earned a master’s degree in Operational Research from the University of Strathclyde and a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the University of Glasgow.

Rachel’s background is in workplace population health management and data analytics. Her passion is helping companies create data-informed strategies to grow and develop their business in human-centric ways. She provides evidence based strategic direction to the internal team at WELCOA, their Members, and industry partners. She works with employers to understand the framework and resources necessary to build high performing, healthy workplaces. She partners with brokers and consultants to develop the future of wellness. And she works with well-being tech and service providers, to reach their best customers with the right message at the right time.

 

About the Well-Being Trailblazer Awards

The Well-Being Trailblazer Awards recognize tech-enabled health and wellness vendors that bring exciting solutions to workplace well-being and positively impact employees’ ability to lead healthy, resilient, and fulfilling lives. The event is sponsored by Archetype and WELCOA, and winners will be featured at the 2022 WELCOA Summit in Chicago this summer.

Applications for this year’s award opened on May 2 and the winners will announced in July. In 2021, four companies were recognized as Well-Being Trailblazers for designing best-in-class solutions for holistic well-being: LearnLux, Peerfit, Wellview, and Unmind.
