Congratulations to Shahrukh Tarapore, the Chief Technology Officer at Archetype, who has just been named a 2023 Diversity in Business Honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal. This award is a testament to Shahrukh’s incredible professional achievements and his unwavering commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business world.

With over two decades of experience in the tech industry, Shahrukh has a knack for leading and growing businesses. As Archetype’s Chief Technology Officer, he spearheads the company’s technology strategy and execution, empowering healthcare, wellness, and HR solution providers to develop and expand technology-driven platforms. Under his watch, Archetype has nurtured several successful companies, including DigiBite, HealthNEXT, Kith and Kin, and Beneration, to name a few.

But Shahrukh’s impact extends beyond the office. He passionately advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Philadelphia community. He serves on the advisory board of Social Venture Partners Philadelphia, a nonprofit that supports BIPOC-led, BIPOC-serving social organizations. He’s also a past President and Trustee of the Zoroastrian Association of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. And his dedication doesn’t stop there. Shahrukh is a board member of the Broad Street Ministry, where he helps provide essential support and services to Philadelphians experiencing poverty.

“I’m truly honored to receive this recognition from the Philadelphia Business Journal for my work in diversity, equity, and inclusion,” Shahrukh shared. “I firmly believe that a diverse and inclusive workforce is the backbone of innovation and success. I’m committed to using my platform to help foster a more equitable and just business community.”

The Diversity in Business Awards is an annual event by the Philadelphia Business Journal that celebrates the accomplishments of diverse business leaders in the Greater Philadelphia region. The awards are open to individuals from minority groups, including African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic or Latino Americans, Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, Hawaiian Natives, Pacific Islanders, or those who identify as LGBTQ+.

Shahrukh will be celebrated at a live event on August 24, 2023.
